Ga. State Patrol sees eight crashes, issues 51 speeding tickets

State Troopers from the Washington Post of the Georgia State Patrol investigated eight traffic crashes during the month of February in Wilkes County.
Sergeant First Class Derrick Durden said the traffic crashes resulted in four injuries and no deaths.
SFC Durden said troopers from Post 17 also issued 89 traffic citations in the county during the month. The total includes two arrests for driving under the influence, 51 citations for speeding, eight seat belt violations, and one child restraint violation.
Troopers also issued 134 warnings.
