Sarah Maxwell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Maxwell of Evans, celebrated her fifth birthday with a party at her home on February 26. Her birthday was February 13.

The party theme was The Cat. This was carried out the party invitations, decorations and birthday cake.

Party favors were bobble head kittens and cat hand puppets.

Celebrating with Sarah and her parents were her sister, Kathryn; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Corrie Maxwell of Washington and Mrs. Sarah Smith of Thomson; also, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Smith and Adam of Thomson, Ty Arnold of Harlem, Mr. and Mrs. Zeke Mercer, Anna E. and Samuel, of Martinez, and Mrs. Tim Crook and Miranda of Washington.
