Colton Bearse honored at sixth birthday celebrations

Colton Timothy Bearse, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Bearse, celebrated his sixth birthday on March 4 and was honored on several occasions.

Colton first celebrated on Friday, March 3, with his kindergarten classmates at Washington Wilkes Primary School. The children enjoyed baseball cupcakes and juice and were given goody bags.

Colton celebrated with a John Deere tractor party at The Ark of First Baptist Church on his birthday. Tractors and green and yellow balloons were used in decorating. Colton and his guests enjoyed volleyball, basketball, playing on the church playground and breaking his number "6" piata.

He and his guests enjoyed his John Deere tractor cake made especially for the occasion by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bearse. Also served were Cheetos, chips and dips, cheese straws, sausage balls, Oreos and various sandwiches.

Celebrating with Colton and his parents were his baby sister, Whitney Madison; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Nunn and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bearse; Mr. and Mrs. Steve Albertson, Mrs. Jim Bennett and Zach, Mrs. Jason Brock, Hunter and Bailey, Mrs. Ben Echols and Taylor, Mrs. Craig Gammon, Curt, Kara and Kaci, William Land, Mrs. Kerry McAvoy, Jr., Paige and Erin, Mrs. Shane Moore, Lindsey and Walker, Mrs. Rodney Shedd and Matt, Mrs. Phil Tanner, Wes and Brett, Mrs. Earl Tawzer and Garrett and Rev. and Mrs. Chris Townsend, Garston and Henry.
