CSRA unemployment rises to 5.8 percent in January
     The Georgia Department of Labor has reported that the unemployment rate in the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) rose to a preliminary 5.8 percent in January, up one-tenth of one percent from a revised 4.7 percent in December. The area%27s jobless rate stood at 6.5 percent in January 2005.

     The 2006 Spring Tour of Homes of Washington-Wilkes will be held on March 31, and April 1 and 2. The Candlelight Tour will get underway on Friday, March 31, at 6 p.m., and continue until 9 p.m. The Candlelight Tour will also be held on Saturday evening, April 1, during the same hours.
