Qualified seventh grade students are eligible to participate in the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) as part of the Annual 7th Grade Talent Search sponsored by the Duke University Talent Identification Program. Two students, Rob Lovvorn and Milton James, from WWMS took advantage of this opportunity.

Rob Lovvorn participated in the test and his scores were high enough for him to be invited to a recognition ceremony in Atlanta, Georgia. Rob is a gifted student served in the area of reading and language arts by Mrs. Debbie McLeod and in the area of math by Mrs. Dawn Pickens. Rob is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Lovvorn.

Milton James also participated and performed well. Milton is a gifted student served in the area of math by Mrs. Dawn Pickens. Milton is the son of Mr. Milton James Sr. and Ms. Leona Dawkins.

"To score high students must have learned a great deal at home by independent study or by special instruction at school," says Mrs. McLeod. All of W-WMS is very proud of the great job done by these two students.
