May Ray accepts a gift of appreciation from Essex Manufacturing, Inc., Plant Manager Thomas Albea upon her retirement from 44 years of faithful service. May Ray was honored on the occasion of her retirement from Essex Manufacturing, Inc., after 44 years of faithful service.

Mrs. Ray came to work at Almar/ Essex on March 2, l962, and retired March 3, 2006.

She was entertained by her office co-workers on March 3 with a lunch at the Washington Jockey Club where her co-workers honored her with a gift certificate from WalMart.

Mrs. Ray was also honored again with lunch at the Washington Jockey Club on March 10 where she was presented a diamond necklace and a monetary gift from the Corporate Office of Essex in New York.

Mrs. Ray was a much loved and respected employee throughout her time at Almar/Essex and will be greatly missed. She was wished much luck during her years of retirement.
