Funeral services for Millie Norman, 93, of Wilkes County were held Saturday, March 11, 2006, at the New Ford Baptist Church, Danburg, with Rev. James White Jr. officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. She died March 3.

She was a native of Wilkes County and the daughter of the late Bennie and Lizzie Norman. She was a member of the New Ford Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Grady Norman and his wife Willie Eva of Tignall, Thomas J. Norman and his wife Sadie of Tignall, and Carl Norman of Danburg; one daughter, Clara Norman and her husband Eddie Mcquees of New York; 14 grandchildren; 30 greatgrandchildren; and seven greatgreat grandchildren.

Pallbearers included Roger Norman, Larry Norman, Jessie Willis, Montarium Norman, Willie Norman Jr., and Jessie Norman.

McLendon Memorial Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
