Funeral services for Barbara Pinette Barker, 29, of Boyd Rd., Tignall, will be held Thursday, March 16, 2006, at 4 p.m., at the Mallorysville Baptist Church with Rev. Donnie Berry officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She died Monday, March 13, at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta.

Mrs. Barker was born in Connecticut. She was a member of the Mallorysville Baptist Church and a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Larry Barker Jr., Tignall; a daughter, Alicia Barker, Tignall; her father, Bertrand Pinette, Bristol, CT; her mother, Dianne and Tony Burton, Tignall; three sisters, Michele Pinette, Bristol, CT, Dianna Zalewski, Niantic, CT, and Brenda Caneles, Waterbury, CT.

Pallbearers will include Joe Burton, Kenneth Smith, Timmy Barker, Kenneth Rogers, Chris Moses, and Harold Barker.

Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington is in charge of arrangements.
