The clubhouse was beautifully decorated for the festive event. Black wrought iron torches flanked the steps leading to the entrance. The front door held a square moss and greenery covered square wreath backed with a black and white portrait of the couple.

As guests entered the club, they signed the guest book placed on a small wooden table covered in linen with an antique embroidered overlay. The table was lit with a silver tea set lamp and decorated with a silver vase of greenery and garlands of pearl.

The fireplaces were filled with magnolia and tea olive and mantels were decorated with a bevy of silver and glass candleholders and nandina.

Guest tables surrounding the dance floor were covered with white linens and black overlays. Each was centered with a mirror, tea lights and a silver champagne bucket filled with greenery and surrounded with garlands of pearls.

Heavy hors d'oeuvres were elegantly served on silver, pewter and glass appointments from the buffet tables skirted in black and covered with white cloths. Soft greenery laced the tables in between the trays of delicious appetizers.

In the center of the room was a large round table of desserts covered with a black cloth with a white overlay centered with a raised crystal ice bucket, the hostess gift to the couple, filled with a colorful arrangement of flowers.

Each guest table in the bar area was covered with a white cloth and centered with a black mat, tea lights, and a silver mesh and bead covered hurricane surrounded with silver bead garlands and nandina.

Music was coordinated by Mrs. Filipiak and included entertainment by vocalist, Mrs. McLeod.
