The Washington-Wilkes Middle School Tiger baseball team defeated the Crescent Tigers 15-9 on Wednesday, March 8.
Trent Martin took the mound and pitched three innings giving up five runs on just two hits. Zach Murray pitched two innings and gave up four runs on no hits while recording four strikeouts. D.J. Barnett earned the win as he pitched two innings and struck out six of the seven batters he faced.
Graham Echols, Matson Keiser, Greg Callaway, Robert McGill, Martin, and Barnett all had hits in the win. Barnett led the way with two singles, a double, one RBI, and four runs scored.
