Rehoboth Baptist Church, Metasville, will give a Ten Commandments plaque, etched in glass, to some lucky ticket holder on April 1. Donations are $5 each and tickets may be obtained from church members. All proceeds go to the Christian Life Center.

One class remains in the Learning In Retirement series for March: Computer and Word, Question and Answer, March 27. All classes are held at the Adult Learning Center.

The Washington-Wilkes Parks and Recreation Fourth Annual Cheerleading Competition will be held Saturday, March 25, at the gym on Lexington Avenue. The Oglethorpe County Patriots Cheerleading Squad will be competing with four WashingtonWilkes squads. The public is invited.

New Salem Baptist Church will have a series of special services April 10-15, 7:30 p.m., with a different speaker each night. Ministers are pastors James Wright, Lockhart, Robert Walton, Harvey Peek, W.R. Ferrell, and Robert Crawford.

Flint Hill Baptist Church will have youth day Sunday, April 2, 11:45 a.m., during morning worship service.

Pleasant Grove Baptist Church will have a youth day program on Sunday, March 26. The sermon will be by Rev. Kelvin Daniel of Atlanta, and music by Beulah PW Elliott Youth Choir. The Pleasant Grove Youth Scripture Choir will lead the scripture reading. All youth departments are invited to the celebration.

The Beulah Volunteer Fire Department will have a chicken barbecue Saturday, March 25, 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Cost is $6.00 per plate.

The CPR training scheduled for March 25 at Shady Grove Baptist Church has been cancelled and is not rescheduled at this time.

There will be a covered dish dinner in the Family Life Center at 6 p.m. Sunday. Rev. Donald F. Walton of Oak Grove, Missouri, will be the guest evangelist.
