Plans are underway for the Washington Little Theater Co. to hold their annual two-week Drama Camp May 22-26 and May 30-June 2.

This year, ages 6-12 will meet from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. each day, organizer Nora Dukes said. Ages 13-19 will meet from 12:30-3:30 p.m. each day.

"The camp will provide children and teens, with or without stage experience, exposure not only to excellent instruction in various aspects of the theater, but will provide an opportunity toward developing selfconfidence and poise in a public setting," Dukes said.

The first four days will be instructional; the following five days will concentrate on rehearsals culminating in performances by the children's camp and teen camp on Friday evening and Sunday afternoon.

Local and guest instructors will provide an enriching and varied experience with instruction to include acting, costuming, improvisation, and more. The cost is $65 and scholarships are available. Keepsakes will be included.
