Paula Stevens and Ren Antonio Paula Stevens and Ren Antonio Paula Stevens, hair-stylist and owner of E-Clips in WashingtonWilkes, attended a seminar at Wynn Salon Services Training Center in Lawrenceville March 12-13.

Ren Antonio, international platform artist proficient in design (cutting) and advanced color, was the educator-trainer for the sessions. He works "behind the chair" three days a week in Orange County, Californnia, in addition to conducting training seminars.

Antonio is a third generation hairstylist. He grew up in a salon watching his mother and grandmother make women look and feel like movie stars. His experience includes 12 years as a prominent salon designer and seven years as an international platform artist with Redken 5th Avenue.

His philosophy is "the words you say may be forgotten, but the way you make people feel will always be remembered.". . . . "Everybody's a movie star," he says.

Stevens says she learned new concepts and techniques in color, and in color correction that will be useful in her own E-Clips service.
