Monday was the first day of spring, but our weather does not agree with this. That reminds me of the Bible and end times. You can't tell one season from the other. Friends, be prepared. It could happen any day. Mrs. Walter Tuttle and her mother, Mrs. Hill O'Neal, enjoyed a trip to Thomson last Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Randall of Florida visited Mrs. Marion Newsome Monday afternoon of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Randall were in Washington to attend the funeral of Beth Randall Glenn. We are glad to hear that Miss Grace Dunnaway continues to improve at Wills Memorial Hospital. We send special get well wishes to Grace. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Phillips, Stephanie Haynes and children visited in Elberton Saturday. On Sunday they enjoyed a trip to Columbia, S.C. Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Ryll, Connor and Calley were supper guests of Mrs. Lucille Ingram Saturday and Sunday evening. Michael VanHart spent Friday night with Roy Chesnut. Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Shelton, Lauree Shelton, and Trudy Ingram were among those who attended the Georgia Baptist Association Vacation Bible School Clinic in Toccoa Friday and Saturday. A going away party was given for Mr. and Mrs. Eric Sifre, Joseph and Mathew, Sunday evening at Ebenezer Baptist Church. They will be moving to Florida soon and we will miss them. I made several trips to Augusta last week on business. It was reported that the antique tractor show was a success Saturday. G.B. enjoyed it and had a couple of tractors to show.
