Marion Leroy (M.L.) Langford, 70, of Orr Road, Washington, died Monday, March 20, 2006, in the University Hospital, Augusta. The family will receive friends Saturday evening, March 25, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hopkins Funeral Home. No other services are planned.

Mr. Langford was a native of Newton County and had lived in Wilkes County most of his life. He was the son of the late John Edward Langford and Pauline Poss Langford. He was a retired truck driver. He was a member and big supporter of the Washington-Wilkes Tiger Club, and was a member of the County Line Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Anita W. Langford, of Washington; a daughter, Kelly Randall, Washington; two sons, Jeremy Wilson, Washington, and Patrick Langford, Sparks, Nevada; a sister, Dell Andrews, Thomson; and seven grandchildren.

Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington is in charge of arrangements.
