Mrs. Kip Burke and son Charlie Burke of Statesboro visited several days last week with Mr. and Mrs. J. Vernon Carr in Old Town, Fla.



Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Hocutt and daughter, Gracie, of Charlotte, N.C., enjoyed the weekend in Washington with Kermit Hocutt and Mrs. Mabel Fouche.

Mr. and Mrs. Grady Rogers spent from Saturday until Monday in Covington with Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Cooper and Alex. They attended Alex's baseball tournament held at the Fairview Sports Complex in McDonough. Alex rotates between the positions of catcher and first baseman with the Covington Cubs, a second-year traveling team of middle school boys from Covington. After three weekend tournaments the Cubs are 11-l claiming the championship two weekends.



Mrs. Charlie Jordan of Atlanta visited Monday night with Dr. and Mrs. Eugene Pollock.
