Four Wilkes County cheerleading teams and a guest team from Oglethorpe County will compete Saturday for the Washington-Wilkes Parks and Recreation Cheerleading Competition 2006.

Parks and Rec Director Pete Gartrell will serve as master of ceremonies as the Bulldogettes, the Tigers, the Falconettes, the Eaglettes, and the OC Patriots compete.

The Tiger Cheerleaders from Washington-Wilkes Middle School will entertain the competition with squad performances.

Judges for the cheerleading competition will include Anna Norman, Niki Johnson, Brenda Hill, Deb deShazo, Marsha Paul, Jennifer Banks, Latisha Green, and Quinetta Cofer.
