Dr. Marshall P. Waters (center) spoke to the Washington Rotary Club and gave an interesting talk on the Civil War concerning the Dahlgren Raid on Richmond and the plot to kill Confederate President Jefferson Davis. Waters, the Washington Kiwanis Club's immediate past president, is founder and member of the Kiwanis Speakers Bureau for which he travels and speaks quite extensively. He will return to the Rotary Club for another program on April 6. He was welcomed at the March 23 meeting by Rotary President Donnie Smith (left) and program host Charlie LeGette.
