Plans are underway for the Washington Little Theater Company's annual two-week Drama Camp to be held May 22-26 and May 30-June 2. Registration begins next Monday, April 3.

For the 2006 camp, kids ages 612 will meet from 9 a.m. until noon each day and those ages 13-19 will meet 12:30-3:30 p.m. each day. The camp will provide children and teens, with or without stage experience, with exposure to excellent instruction in various aspects of the theater. It will also provide an opportunity toward developing selfconfidence and poise in a public setting.

The first four days of the camp will be instructional. The next five days activity will concentrate on rehearsals and will culminate in performances by the children's camp and the teen camp on Friday evening and Sunday afternoon.

Local and guest instructors will provide an enriching and varied experience with instruction to include acting, costuming, improvisation, and more. The cost is $65.00, and scholarships are available. Keepsakes will be included.
