Kimberly Holder, bride-elect of Will Bentley, was entertained at a miscellaneous bridal shower on Sunday afternoon, March 26, at the home of Mrs. Jamie Barnett on Sims Street. Hostesses for the occasion were Mrs. Barnett and Mrs. Nathan Pearson of Milledgeville.

For the occasion Miss Holder wore a three-quarter sleeve white button-up blouse and a pleated lime green skirt. She was presented a corsage of white daisies.

The front porch was adorned with hanging ferns and potted begonias and an arrangement of mixed spring flowers hung on the front door.

Guests were welcomed inside and signed the bride's book on a table in the hallway.

In the dining room the table, covered in white, was centered with a beautiful arrangement of fresh cut flowers. Cheese straws, sausage balls, mixed nuts, mints, pound cake with strawberries, peaches and Cool-Whip were served. Ivy surrounded the base of the punch bowl from which guests enjoyed party punch.

The hostesses presented Miss Holder a platter in her informal dinnerware.

Miss Holder presented her hostesses silver footed jewelry boxes with their initials engraved.

In addition to the front and indoor decorations, guests also enjoyed the patio area off the dining room where potted geraniums, snapdragons and begonias were used to decorate. The steps leading from the patio were lined with colorful gerbera daisies.

Forty guests were invited.
