Morgan McAvoy, bride-elect of Tim Echols, was feted at a bridal shower Saturday morning, March 27, given by Mrs. Eugene Pollock and Miss Betty Slaton at the Slaton home on East Robert Toombs Avenue.

The bride-elect and hostesses received guests and were invited into the dining room where the table held a beautiful arrangement of mixed spring flowers in an antique silver amphora.

A delicious assortment of party foods was enjoyed.

The hostesses presented the brideelect a Georgia plate.

Fifty guests were invited. Special guests included the bride-elect's mother, Mrs. David McAvoy, and grandmothers, Mrs. Marvin McAvoy and Mrs. John Yochim; and the prospective bridegroom's mother, Mrs. Neill Echols.
