Petrina L. Cullars of Washington completed requirements for becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) March 3 at Augusta Technical College. She will take her state board examinations within the next month.

While attending nursing school, Cullars was employed by Wills Memorial Hospital as an administrative assistant, and more recently, as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She plans to continue employment at Wills Memorial as an LPN once she is licensed.

Cullars lives in Washington with her husband, Quincy, and their three children, Quintavian, 7; Triyana, 18 months; and Quentin, born March 20. She is the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Gold L. Walton Jr. of Washington.
