Washington-Wilkes Lady Tiger guard Diundra Doughty has been selected for post-season honors by the Athens Banner-Herald as announced in its March 24 issue. Doughty, a 5-5 junior on the W-W team, was named to the second team of the newspaper's All-Northeast Georgia Girls Basketball Team.

"In her absence," the selection report said, "the Lady Tigers started the season 0-9, but when she returned, Doughty led WashingtonWilkes to the school's fifth berth in the state tournament. Doughty delivered for the Lady Tigers in every aspect of the game." The reports also credited Doughty with averages of 10 points per game, eight rebounds, five assists, and five steals.
