Jason Cobb gets residency at Emory University Hospital

Jason Cobb, a senior medical student at Emory University School of Medicine, participated in the National Resident Matching Program on March 16 and was matched into the Emory University Internal Medicine Residency Program.

He was also interviewed and ranked at Vanderbilt University, Duke University, and the Cleveland Clinic. The Emory residents will work primarily at Emory University Hospital and Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. Other affiliated hospitals include Emory Crawford Long Hospital and the Atlanta Veterans Administration Medical Center.

Cobb expects to graduate in May of this year and begin his residency in June.

He was the 1998 Valedictorian at Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School and a 2002 magna cum laude graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta. He is the son of Kay Frances Cobb of WashingtonWilkes.
