India Callaway, daughter of Kari and Eugene Callaway Jr., and seven of her girl friends were treated to an American Girl Doll Spa/Spendthe Night party on Saturday, March 25, in celebration of her seventh birthday.

After a hot dog supper at her home, India and her guests were ushered through three "stations": Hairstyle/Doll-'Dos, Manicure/Pedicure and Facial, where they were pampered and tended to by India's cousins, Haley and Katherine Barton, and two of their friends, Lindsey Carrick and Annie Ruland, all of Alpharetta. A Spa bubble-themed cake was served with ice cream and after changing into their pajamas, the girls watched a movie before sleeping in the playroom.

A light breakfast of cinnamon rolls, biscuits, ham, fruit and juice, was served the following morning.

After playtime outside, each girl was presented a special Spa party favor bag.

Celebrating with India and her parents were her sister, Grace; grandparents Bob and Bettie Hudson of Marietta and Avola Callaway of Rayle; aunt, Beth Bowles; cousins, Haley and Katherine Barton; also, Lindsey Carrick and Annie Ruland, of Alpharetta; Eve Gallo of Augusta, Savannah Echols and Sylvia Walker of Rayle, Jolane Mosley and Rachel Reeves of Warrenton, Alli Bennett and Taylor Echols of Washington.

India celebrated the day before the Spa party with a pizza party with her first grade school friends at Briarwood Academy on her birthday, Friday, March 24. Classmates were served pizza, cupcakes and juice boxes.
