Beth Lannae of Evans, bride-elect of Russell Rainey, also of Evans, was honored at an Around the Clock Shower at the Highgrove Clubhouse in Evans Thursday evening, March 23. Hostesses were Jackie Baker, Sonny Ellison, Heidi Hurdle, Susan Ogletree and Cindy Tully of Evans.

For the occasion Miss Lannae wore a pink cashmere jacket, black slacks and white blouse. Instead of a corsage, the hostesses presented her a veil to wear throughout the evening.

The clubhouse was beautifully decorated in pink and green with beautiful arrangements of flowers. Crystal and silver and lighted candles enhanced the buffet in addition to the spring flowers. Served with the buffet was a cake featuring a picture of Miss Lannae and her prospective bridegroom.

The hostesses presented the brideelect a gift and she presented each one a Junior League Cookbook.

Forty guests were invited. In addition to Miss Lannae's co-workers, neighbors, college and Junior League friends, attending were Debbie Wells, Cathy Lannae, Melanie Wells, and Katy Meech of Washington, Amy Lannae of Athens and Mary Ellen Lindsey of Charlotte, N. C.
