Mrs. Mary Norman Boldin was honored on the occasion of her 90th birthday at a reception on Saturday afternoon, March 25, in the private dining room of Watchmaker's at The Fitzpatrick Hotel. Hostesses were her sister, Mrs. Hill O'Neal of Washington, and nieces, Mrs. Henry Opry of Athens and Mrs. Walter Tuttle of Washington. Her birthday was March 31.

In honor of the occasion Mrs. Boldin was presented a corsage of spring flowers.

The reception room was festively decorated with numerous arrangements of spring and summer flowers.

The buffet was centered with a silver trumpet vase of cutflowers. Others tables continued this theme in decorating and smaller budvases centered tables where guests were seated.

A beautiful birthday cake flavored with raspberry filling was topped and cornered with fresh flowers.

In addition to the birthday cake, guests enjoyed fresh fruits, chicken salad and pimento cheese sandwiches, cheese straws, meatballs in sauce, hot spinach dip with crackers, punch and coffee.

Approximately 50 guests attended and included out-of-town guests, Mr. and Mrs. Randall Pettus of Buford, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Morrison of Martinez, Mrs. Fred Williamson of Augusta, Mrs. Walter Williams of Martinez, and Mrs. Nathan Pearson and Delaney of Milledgeville.
