Amelia Elizabeth Brown of Washington-Wilkes has been named campaign manager for Norwood for Congress for the 2006 election year.

Brown, a 2004 graduate of the University of Georgia in Political Science, is the former Legislative Assistant for State Senators Jim Whitehead and John Wiles. She is a 2000 honor graduate of Washington Wilkes Comprehensive High School.

"I am very pleased to have someone of Amelia Brown's stature serving as our campaign manager during this cycle, and I want every one of our supporters to meet and get to know her as soon as possible," Norwood said. "I know they'll be just as excited as I am to have Amelia heading our team."

Brown is the daughter of Debra and Phil Brown of WashingtonWilkes.
