W. R. (Bill) Latimer Jr. of Atlanta visited Tuesday with his aunt, Mrs. R. E. Blue.

Visiting over the weekend with Mrs. Jane Garner were Phil Garner of Milledgeville, Nancy Garner of Dunwoody, Jim Garner of Athens and Pam Sellars of Augusta. During the weekend they enjoyed a birthday celebration honoring Phil Garner.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Mellen of Birmingham, Ala., were in Washington over the weekend and visited

Mrs. R. E. Blue. Mrs. Mellen was one of the featured artists in the weekend art and music festival.

A weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. John Webster was his son, John Webster Jr., of Pittsburgh, Pa.

Mr. and Mrs. Graham Smith and son, Adam, of Snellville enjoyed several days in Washington.

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Wells visited Saturday with former Washington residents, Rev. and Mrs. Chester Hall, at their home in Jefferson.

Mrs. Robert Wallace joined Mr. and Mrs. Theron Wallace for the weekend in Elkin, N.C., where they attended the wedding of her nephew and their cousin, David Martin Blackmon, to Caroline Noel Beverly. They also enjoyed a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Don King of Winston Salem, N.C., and Dr. Ian King of Elkin, N.C.

Doug Tyler of Norcross visited Sunday with his mother, Mrs. Richard Tyler. After attending church and having dinner, they visited Mrs. James Tyler at Washington Manor.

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bishop visited during the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Collum and Neely of Rockmart and Mr. and Mrs. Neil Bishop and Landon of Adairsville.

Jerome Robinson and son, Jerome, Jr., of Sun City, Calif., will be guests of Cora Gartrell Mother's Day weekend. Mr. Robinson is a former Washington police officer as well as a former member of the hit singing group, The Platters. He is currently a professional entertainer preparing for a summer concert series held in Idylwild, Calif., from late May through October.
