Kelsey Leard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Leard III, was one year old on April 6 and celebrated her birthday on April 8 with a "Number One Birthday Girl" party at her home.

Kelsey had a number one cake served with homemade banana ice cream made by her "Pa Coxwell". She also had her very own smaller number one cake.

Enjoyed with cake were hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, chili, slaw and chips.

Party favors given to the guests included noise makers and candyfilled Easter eggs.

Celebrating with Kelsey, her parents and sister, Caitlin, were her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L. Dan Coxwell and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Leard Jr.; her aunt and family, Mrs. Chris Echols, Bailey and Jake; also, Mrs. Brent Marable and Jack Durham of Watkinsville, Molly Burgess of Athens, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Wells, Mrs. Adele Seymour, Mrs. Jeff Johnson, Brandon Howard and Matthew Howard.
