Carly and Cody win ribbons in Morgan Co. horse show

Carly Cosby and her horse, Cody, participated in the Kel-Mac Open Horse Show in Morgan County and received four ribbons. Carly Cosby and her horse, Cody, participated in the 2006 Kel-Mac Open Horse Show in Morgan County Saturday, April 15, and won four ribbons.

They received fourth place in Beginner Junior Walk-Trot Western Pleasure (13 years old and under); and fourth in Beginner Junior WalkTrot Horsemanship. They received fifth place in Beginner Walk-TrotCanter one at a time; and fifth in Beginner Western Walk-Trot Championship. Cody is a 10-year-old black and white paint. This was Carly and Cody's first show together.

Carly is the daughter of David and Betty Cosby and granddaughter of Wadine Cosby. She was sponsored by Rockin' Rooster which is owned by her aunt, Joyce Hardy.

Attending the show with Carly was her mother; her horse instructor, Debbie Merkert, owner of Trinity Ranch in Tignall; and a friend, Miranda Ramos.
