GSP troop records 14 Wilkes crashes for month of April

State Troopers from the Washington Post of the Georgia State Patrol investigated 14 traffic crashes during the month of April in Wilkes County.
Sergeant First Class Durden said the traffic crashes resulted in 10 injuries. There were no traffic deaths.
SFC Durden said troopers from Post 17 also issued 89 traffic citations in the county during the month. The total includes five arrests for driving under the influence; 62 citations for speeding; three seat belt violations; and three child restraint violations. Troopers also issued 126 warnings.
