Some 14 second-graders at Washington-Wilkes Primary School had their poems selected to be featured in a book, "Celebrating Poetry." Included in the book will be poems by (front, l-r) KeMaya Curry, Cody McLeroy, Cole Howard, Morgan Scott, Levi Scott, and Neisha Taylor; (back) Mackenzie Anderson, Meredith Gunter, Gerald Anderson, Jarius Ferrell, Quanisia Davis, Jada Brittain, Quarterez Williams, and Nyheem Milton with teacher Carol Souther.
