The Reese J. Booker Scholarship Committee will have its annual fund-raising program in memory of Reese J. Booker and Rosa Grant Warthen on May 28.

The program will be held at Marks Tabernacle Baptist Church, Lexington Avenue, Washington, at 6 p.m.

The theme for the program is "Writing Is Fun and Prosperous." The scholarship committee will present authors of Marks Tabernacle and others, featuring Kay Finnell, author; Linda Cofer Stuart of Lithonia, poet; Katiska Booker Jones, Christ City of Prayer Church, poet; and others.
