God is so good to me. His love has been showered all around me and my loving family since my fall on Monday morning, April 24, like never before, or to say in a long time.

A lot of us are sometimes prone to just take people for granted, forget just why we have been placed on earth, that God is real, that we can trust Him, if we really put our faith and trust in Him; that He will never leave us or forsake us. Only believe.

"The grass withers, the flowers fade, but the Word of our God remains forever." Isaiah 40:8.

How glorious it is for us to have the hands of Jesus upon our lives. When Jesus stretched out His hands, it meant the extension of so many good things. His hands reached out and gathered children to His side. He rubbed mud in the eyes of a blind man and sight was restored. He touched a leper and he was cleansed. He took a little boy's lunch and fed the 5,000. He lifted his hands over the disciples and sent His blessing upon them.

Remember, He reached forth His hands and rescued Peter from the stormy sea; on and on he performed miracles.

He is still the same. His Word is the same, we need only to open His word, a good guide book to follow. It will lead us all home if only we all read it and accept and reply to His calling. He is still waiting with open arms today. What will you do?

I would like to wish all mothers, young and old, a happy and blessed Mother's Day 2006. May each of you be treated like a "Queen for a Day," with showers of blessings and attention that will put a glow in your heart. I thank our Heavenly Father for all Christian homes where the Bible is read, mother and father are best friends working together to set a good example.

The Bible teaches us to train up our children in the way they should go and that when they are old, they will not depart from it. It didn't say that everything will be roses always, that perhaps one might choose to go their own way exploring things of the world along the way, but that someday things of the world would grow dim and they would remember that the way of the cross leads home.

Children can be such a blessing in many small ways. They pick up on love. How many remember times your child or another child picked you a wildflower and gave it to you so thrilled to have something to share. Being a mother of two myself and grandmother or one, I feel so rich. God is so good. Happy Mother's Day. May God bless each of you.
