Cynthia Belle Shoemaker
Funeral services for Cynthia Belle Shoemaker, 89, of Tignall will be held Thursday, May 11, 2006, at 3 p.m., at the Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Edwards officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. She died Monday, May 8, at Quiet Oaks Nursing Home in Oglethorpe County.
Mrs. Shoemaker was a native and lifelong resident of Wilkes County. She was the daughter of the late George Henry Bolton and Mary Frances Belcher, and was the widow of Everett Fletcher Shoemaker. She retired from Almar Manufacturing Co. and was a member of the Beulah Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, David and Jessie
Shoemaker of Tignall, a son, Wayne Shoemaker of Elberton; a daughter and son-in-law, Judith and Guy Lance of Lexington; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Cynthia Johnson, Sabin and Lori Beth, Kurk and Janet Lance, Julia and Nathaniel, Brian and Amy Lance, Jenny and Jamie Atkinson, Joshua and Maria Shoemaker, and Benjamin Shoemaker; and a brother, Claude Bolton of Washington.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Beulah Baptist Church Building Fund.
