Funeral services for Lois Louise Teems Savage, 70, of Tignall, were held Wednesday, May 10, 2006, at the Tignall Baptist Church with Rev. Dale Fincher and Rev. Gene Hiers officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. She died Monday, May 8, at Select Specialty Hospital.

Mrs. Savage was a native of Wilkes County and was the daughter of the late Robert William and Nannie Bell Smith Teems. She was a retired sewing machine operator and a member of the Tignall Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Savage of Tignall; two sons, Greg Savage, Land of Lakes, Fla.,

and Gary Savage, Athens; a daughter, Lisa Smith, Washington; two brothers, Hugh Teems, Tignall, and Roy Teems; two sisters, Pauline Parker, Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., and Gertrude Long, Tignall; and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers included Danny Price, Ernest Lamar, Dean Ware, Ronnie Futch, Kenny Long, and Johnny Truitt. Members of the Senior Adult Sunday School Class served as honorary pallbearers.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Tignall Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.

Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
