PERSONALITTHEI Anna Kathryn Gentry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Gentry Jr. of Athens, celebrated her seventh birthday on May 5.

Anna's day began with a Happy Birthday call from her daddy who is serving in Iraq.

After field day activities with her classmates at Oconee Primary School, Anna and her classmates celebrated with a late afternoon party at Pump It Up in Athens. All enjoyed the festivities and games before being served pizza, grapes, Chex Mix, CapriSuns and other beverages.

Cupcakes were enjoyed for dessert and Anna had a special one topped with a "7".

Party favors were given to all the children.

In addition to Anna's classmates, guests with her and her mother were her sister, Caroline; grandparents, Mrs. J. C. Carroll of Eutawville, S.C., and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Pope Jr. of Washington; uncle, aunt and cousin, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Pope III and Wesley of Washington; Lauren and Will Griffith, Sarena Springer and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Coleman of Athens.
