Auditions for the annual Children's Playhouse sponsored by the Washington Little Theater Company will be held Saturday, May 27, at 10 a.m. and Tuesday, May 30, at 7:30 p.m., at The Playhouse on North Alexander Avenue.

Scott Lewis will be directing "The Princess and the Pea" with performances scheduled for Wednesday, September 6, and Friday, September 8.

Needed are actors, actresses, and support crew to help entertain children from pre-school through the fifth grade.

"It is a short play, and the audience is children, an ideal combination for first-time performers, as well as seasoned veterans," Lewis says. "The Children's Playhouse is an opportunity to expose kids to live theater without having to go out-oftown."
