More than 150 people gathered at The Gin Mill in Tignall to ride on a poker run to benefit Thomas "Stump" Bunch of Washington who needs a kidney transplant. "We've raised $6,950 for Stump," said organizer Kelly Harris. The event, sponsored by Harris Custom Cycles and Stars and Bars Motorcycle Group, sent riders on long loops through the Georgia countryside Saturday. The holders of the three winning poker hands, Jay Hendry and Chris Rounds of Washington and Allen Austin of Lincolnton, donate their winnings to the family.
