JONES Reginald Jones of WashingtonWilkes received an Associate of Business degree in Funeral Services from Piedmont Technical College in Greenwood, S.C., May 4.

Jones will take the National Board of Funeral Services Examination in May and the State of Georgia Funeral Services Examination in July. He will also have 18 months of apprenticeship at Davenport-McLendon Mortuary in Washington, and following this will become a Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer.

Jones is a 1987 graduate of Washington Wilkes Comprehensive High School and a 1992 graduate of Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville with a Bachelor of Business Administration.

He is a member of Timothy Baptist Church in Athens where he serves as a deacon and assistant church clerk. He is also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity and is the son of Emma Jones of Washington.
