Booker graduates with B.S. degree at Voorhees Col.

BOOKER BOOKER Angoneckia D. Booker graduated from Voorhees College in Denmark, S.C., on Saturday, May 13, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis J. Booker of Washington and Mr. and Mrs. Anrickie Parks of Lincolnton.

The keynote speaker was Dr. Secaida D. Howell, superintendent of the Bamburg School District 2.

Angoneckia attended Voorhees College on a full-tuition basketball scholarship. She was a member of the college's Lady Tigers basketball team all four years and was the 2005-2006 homecoming queen at the college. At the senior banquet May 6 she was voted "most attractive." She is the treasurer of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.

Angoneckia is a 2002 graduate of Lincoln County High School and has plans to attend Claflin University in January to begin work on her MBA.

The graduation was attended by her parents, three sisters, and other relatives and close friends. A dinner reception in her honor was given at the Lincoln Center in Lincolnton. Angoneckia received many words of congratulations and gifts.
