HARDY Jennifer Hardy graduated from Georgia College & State University (GC&SU) in Milledgeville during commencement exercises on the front lawn of the campus Saturday, May 6.

Jennifer is the daughter of Joe and Debra Hardy of Rayle and graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Nursing. Diplomas were presented by the GC&SU Presicent, Dr. Dorothy Leland.

On Friday afternoon, May 5, Jennifer participated in a pinning ceremony honoring the nursing graduates. Following the ceremony, family and friends gathered for a celebratory dinner at The Brick in downtown Milledgeville.

While at GC&SU, Jennifer was recognized as one of the top freshmen; served as president, secretary, and ritual chairman of Phi Mu; served on the campus activities board; was inducted into the honor societies of Alpha Lambda Delta, Order of Omega and Rho Lambda; and was treasurer of her nursing class.

Present for the pinning and commencement ceremonies in addition to Jennifer's parents were her brother, Gaynor; grandmother, Myrtis Seymour; Dan Seymour, Dennis and Sharon Seymour, Mason and Blair, Brenda Mason, Diva Sapp, Stephanie Greathouse, Tyler Cole, and Libby Ellis.

Following graduation, Jennifer and her family enjoyed lunch with several fellow graduates and their families at Amici's in downtown Milledgeville.
