Lindsey Goolsby and Brantley (Bubba) Rogers were honored at a couple's shower on Saturday evening, April 22, in the garden and around the pool at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Tucker. Hosting with the Tuckers were Mr. and Mrs. Greg Scott, Mr. and Mrs. Pembroke Pope IV and Wilson Long.

For the occasion the bride-elect wore a beautiful white sundress with a white daisy corsage presented to her by the hosts.

Ferns and torches decorated the pool, pool house and garden.

Guest tables were covered with white and navy cloths and centered with small terra cotta pots of greenery illuminated with tapers covered by hurricanes surrounded by ivy.

A chocolate fountain was the focal point on the bountiful buffet table of hors d'oeuvres. The hosts presented the engaged couple a Henckel butcher block knife set.

Approximately 50 guests attended. Special guests included Mr. and Mrs. Burt Goolsby of Thomson, parents of the bride-elect; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Henderson of Washington; and the prospective bridegroom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Rogers, also of Washington.
