The Washington Woman's Club is accepting applications for the Nettles-Dillard Scholarship.

This $1000 scholarship is awarded annually and is aimed primarily at adults who want to upgrade their skills and education.

Applicants must be high school graduates, residents of Wilkes County and must have been accepted by an accredited college or technical school.

Applications must be returned by June 1, 2006.
