Wyatt Laudicina celebrates sixth birthday May 13
Wyatt Laudicina, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Laudicina of Hanover, Pa., celebrated his sixth birthday on Saturday, May 13, while visiting his grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. Mark Waters.
Wyatt was treated by his parents and grandparents to a pirate-theme party. A Happy Birthday sign and balloons welcomed guests at the door.
Inside, the party table was covered with a treasure map cloth and centered with a pirate ship "floating" in the ocean complete with a rocky ocean floor. Also on the table were a treasure chest and black velvet skull-decorated bags for the children to take on their treasure hunt.
As children arrived, each was presented a pirate hat, eye patch and skull necklace. With black bag in hand, each was given a treasure map to follow to find the treasure chest full of coins and jewels.
Wyatt's pirate cake was centered with his picture and decorated with pirate paraphernalia, also a special treasure chest made by his grandmother. In addition to cake, guests enjoyed ice cream cones and punch.
Party favors from the treasure chest included coins, pirate tattoos, lighted rings, stone bracelets and necklaces.
Celebrating with Wyatt, his parents and maternal grandparents were his sister, Savannah; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Laudicina of Sykesville, Md; greatgrandmother, Mrs. James A. Johnson of Washington; Mrs. Bob Murphy of Bishop; Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Gresham and Mr. and Mrs. Will Johns, Ashlyn, Morgan, Camryn and Jaclynn, of Marietta; Arvid Johnson of Atlanta; and Clayton Foster of Washington.
Wyatt, his parents, sister, Savannah, and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Laudicina, were overnight guests of the Dr. and Mrs. Waters. After the birthday party and an evening meal, the family enjoyed the Cruise-In on The Square in Washington.
