Parole violation, drunk driving lead month's law enforcement activity

Parole violations and charges of driving under the influence of alcohol again led the round up of law enforcement activity in Wilkes County for the month of May.

Dennis Blackmon, 22, of Washington, was arrested May 30 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with a parole violation.

Eric Pender, 28, of Washington, was arrested May 27 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with a parole violation.

Alma Chapman, 47, of Washington, was arrested May 27 by Washington Police and charged with trespassing. She was held on $209 bond.

Waddy Luke, 46, of Tignall, was arrested May 25 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with a parole violation.

Henrietta Allen, 43, of Athens, was arrested May 25 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with a parole violation.

Carla Perry, 34, of Washington, was arrested May 25 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with a parole violation.

Lewis Paul Prince, 40, of Lincolnton, was arrested May 24 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with two counts of possession of drugs with intent to distribute; one charge of the sale of dangerous drugs; and one violation of the drug original container law. He was released on $20,000 bond.

John Fitzgerald Dawson, 36, of Wilkes County, was arrested May 24 by Washington Police and charged with driving on a suspended or revoked license.

Lorne Justin Frenette, 34, of Washington, was arrested May 19 by Washington Police and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol; driving with an open container of alcohol; misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and a traffic violation. He was released on $3,800 bond.

Trent Sturgis, 29, of Washington, was arrested May 18 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with theft by taking, cruelty to animals, and held on a state probation violation.

Emmett Moore Taylor, 18 of Washington, was arrested May 17 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with theft by taking. He was released on $5,000 bond.

Rodney Lavere Rhodes, 32, of Crawfordville, was arrested May 13 by Washington Police and charged with reckless driving, fleeing or attempting to elude police officer, and obstruction of law officers. He was released on $8,000 bond.

Saintwan Roberts, 17, of Washington, was arrested May 12 by Washington Police and charged with theft by taking. He was held on $8,000 bond.

Calvinshae D. Acree, 21, of Washington, was arrested May 14 by Washington Police and charged with driving on a suspended or revoked license, and with a traffic charge. He was released on $1,750 bond.

Frederick Gale Porter, 27, of Washington, was arrested May 14 by Washington Police and charged with driving on a suspended or revoked license; and with a loud music violation. He was released on $2,100 bond.

Robert L. Turner, 62, of Wilkes County, was arrested May 11 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with theft by taking. He was released on $3,000 bond.

Billy L. Gartrell, 18, of Washington, was arrested May 11 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with theft by receiving stolen property. He was released on $4,000 bond.

Antonia Banks Hughes, 25, of Elberton, was arrested May 10 by Georgia State Patrol and charged with driving on a suspended or revoked license; and with speeding. She was released on $2,000 bond.

Eric Benard Smith, 20, of Athens, was arrested May 7 by Georgia State Patrol and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He was released on $666 bond.

Myron Rupert Wright, 52, of Greensboro, was arrested May 7 by Georgia State Patrol and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He was released on $1,500 bond.

Curtis Lee Anderson, 42, of Wilkes County, was arrested May 7 by Georgia State Patrol and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol; driving on a suspended or revoked license; and with a traffic charge. He was released on $5,800 bond.

Kenji Miura Reid, 29, of Greensboro, was arrested May 7 by Georgia State Patrol and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol; driving on a suspended or revoked license; and driving with an open container of alcohol. He was released on $3,250 bond.

Marion Adkins, 28, of Athens, was arrested May 7 by Georgia State Patrol and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He was released on $1,500 bond.

P.J. McDougle, 42, of Washington, was arrested May 6 by Washington Police and charged with disorderly conduct. He was released on $300 bond.

Vega Josue Arellano, 26, of Clayton, was arrested May 6 by Georgia State Patrol and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He was held on $1,500 bond.

Eddie Crawford, 25, of Eatonton, was arrested May 6 by Georgia State Patrol and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He was released on $666 cash bond.

Antwoin Boon, 21, of Tignall, was arrested May 6 by Washington Police and charged with disorderly conduct. No bond was noted.

Deirdre Mechelle Smith, 27, of Woodville, Ga., was arrested May 7 by Georgia State Patrol and charged with disorderly conduct. No bond was noted.

Phillip Smith, 20, of Crawfordville, was arrested May 6 by Georgia State Patrol and charged with possession or distribution of a controlled substance. He was released on $1,500 bond.

Mitchell Tutt, 20, of Washington, was arrested May 6 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with driving on a revoked or suspended license; and with having an open container of alcohol. He was released on $1,740 bond.

Donquitus Brittain, 21, of Lithonia, was arrested May 6 by Georgia State Patrol and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He was released on $1,500 bond.

Lareekus Jernigan, 26, of Washington, was arrested May 7 by Georgia State Patrol and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol; endangering a child under 14; driving on a suspended or revoked license; and violation of the open container law. He was released on $1,750 bond.

Eugene Mills, 49, was arrested May 6 by Washington Police and charged with disorderly conduct. He was released on $600 cash bond.

Ronnie Monford Jr., 25, of Greensboro, was arrested May 7 by Georgia State Patrol and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He was released on $1,500 bond.

Debra Willis, 40, of Tignall, was arrested May 4 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with felony arson in the first degree. She was released on $15,000 bond.

Demetrius Perkins, 24, of Washington, was arrested May 5 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with a probation violation.

Betty Jean Norman, 43, of Wilkes County, was arrested May 5 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with making terroristic threats and acts. She was released on $10,000 bond.

William Gowen, 34, of Wilkes County, was arrested May 4 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with deposit account fraud. He was released on a no-contest cash bond.

Exzaben Hardeman, 26, of Washington, was arrested May 4 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with aggravated battery and held on a parole warrant.

Justin Rogers, 19, of Wilkes County, was arrested May 2 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with two counts of felony aggravated assault; possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance; and with a violation of the drug original container law. He was held on $36,000 bond.

Valentin M. Gonzalez, 34, of Wilkes County, was arrested May 1 by Washington Police and charged with driving without insurance; and with speeding. He was released on $1,519 bond.
