GLSP to offer free legal help

Members of the Georgia Legal Services Program (GLSP) will be in Wilkes County to meet with senior citizens wanting free legal help, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Persons who are senior citizens 60 years of age or older and who have a civil (non-criminal) legal issue, may be able to receive help.

A staff member from GLSP will be in Wilkes County to meet with

seniors from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Tuesday, June 6, at the Wilkes County Senior Center, 108 Marshall St., Washington.

The GLSP office which serves Wilkes County is in Augusta at 209 Seventh Street, Suite 400. Senior citizens may call 1-800-248-6697 to ask for help with legal problems of may meet with staff members during the scheduled visits.
