John Carter is participating in the Farmers Market across from the Old Jail in Washington. Susannah says he sold all he carried, but it is early in the season and he doesn't have that much to sell right now. He will have quite an array of vegetables, fruits, and peanuts coming in later. He will be at the market every Saturday. John and Susannah live across the road from the once Charlie Wright home. They are the couple who bought and moved the House (Jim, Frances and Bud House) house from Delhi Road to this location. They remodeled, added a second floor and it doesn't look like the same house. John is really into growing vegetables big time! Susannah teaches the second grad at Washington-Wilkes Primary School. She also does the weaving and spinning demonstration at the fall festivals.
