Lucille Crosby Giltner
Graveside services for Lucille Crosby Giltner, 85, of Chester, S.C., were held Tuesday, May 30, 2006, at Evergreen Cemetery, Chester, S.C., with Rev. Don Simpson officiating. She died Sunday, May 28, at Spartanburg (S.C.) Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Giltner was a lifelong resident of Chester, where she was an active member of Purity Presbyterian Church and active in the library and arts organizations. She was the widow of Joe H. Giltner Jr., and was the daughter of the late Pearl C. Heath. Survivors include a daughter,
Pamela L.G. Eaton of WashingtonWilkes, Joe D. Giltner, Chesnee, S.C., and Sam C. Giltner, Chester, S.C.; five grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; and a sister, Sarah Frances Crosby Reeves of Sanford, N.C.
Honorary pallbearers were her grandchildren: Gregory Paul Giltner, David Pierce Giltner, Ulysses Kerns Eaton, Virginia Ann Giltner, and Joe Harvey Giltner II.
